The anniversary of Sultan coronation is celebrated on 24 August 2006 or 29 Rejeb 1939 Alip in Javanese calendar. The coronation of Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X on 7 March 1989 or 29 Rejeb 1921 Wawu of Javanese calendar will be one of the topics of the current Edition of Tour De Djokjda that takes the theme of "The Glowing of Yogyakarta Culture".

Logical thinking based on current reality of life that specifically Yogyakarta is facing this time, and Indonesian Country in general, makes the character of Hamengku Buwono X so flexible and dynamic to follow any changes.

In this edition, Tour de Djokdja tries to present the journey of Yogyakarta culture in the swiftness of modern current. How such spiritual values are strongly maintained in order to execute the mandate of the ancestor; to understand more deeply the insight of the predecessor to harmonize human being with nature. How religious values that are wrapped with culture quivers soul and body.
