Rumah Mertua is a small boutique hotel with eleven comfortable bedrooms, spa and a traditional restaurant with romantic garden environment. Located just outside the crowded center of Jogjakarta, it combines the luxury of a good hotel with the environment of a traditional Javanese house. Equipped with AC, Hot & cold water, Color TV, the rooms are designed using modern Javanese atmosphere. We have standard, superior, deluxe and family rooms. Other hotel facilities are Garden Restaurant, Swimming pool, Car rental, laundry service and Taxi service. Visa card and Master card are accepted.

SPA

Javanese Traditional Massage is an oil-based massage that originated as an ancient system of healing with a history of over 300 years in Indonesia. In Javanese massage, pushing and stroking techniques predominate, working to ease muscle and joint pain. It relies upon deep thumb pressures pushing, pressing and circling along and around the body's energy meridians to break down tensely knotted muscles and to stimulate the body´s lymphatic system into releasing its self regenerative power and veins to improve blood circulation.

RESTAURANT

Open from 10:00 AM till 09:00 PM, our restaurant offers traditional Indonesian food for reasonable prices in a romantic garden environment. Our special menu is the Rijsttafel (a variety of 10 different dishes) for only IDR 79,000/pax.

Rumah Mertua also provides exclusive tour arrangement for you to some places inside and around Jogjakarta. You can visit Borobudur Temple, Prambanan Temple, Dieng Plateau or simply have a city tour to see Malioboro, Sultan Palace, Taman Sari Water Castle and many more. Large group tours are available everyday and you can also rent our car with only IDR 80,000 per hour and IDR 595,000 per day, which already includes gasoline and driver.
