ADISUTJIPTO AIRPORT TRANSFER
From Trans Jogja Buses to Train
Updated on 22 January 2019
On one fine day, passengers who had just arrived flocked into the main building and into the arrival section of of Adisutjipto International Airport. Some were greeted by their families or hotel staffs assigned to pick them up, while others were still considering what kind of transportation they should take to get to their next destination. A middle-aged man came to a female passenger standing not far from the arrival gate.
"Taxi?", asked the middle-aged man.
"How much is it to Tamansari?" the female passenger asked in response.
"Only 120 thousands."
"Can't it go any lower than that?"
"That's the best I can offer you. 120 thousands is cheap already!"
"I'll just find myself a better deal," said the female passenger, leaving the middle-aged man.
A first-time traveler in Yogyakarta might think that the only mode of transportation available in the airport is taxi due to the many people offering it. In fact, Yogyakarta's airport offers you a wide selection of transportation modes, from the affordable ones to those that will cost you more. Here are 9 modes of transportation available to take you around from Adisutjipto International Airport:

Another option is to get on Trans Jogja Bus route 1A, 1B or 3B from the airport shelter and get off at the nearest shelter (Halte Jl. Solo (Jayakarta)) and then order the ojol service from there.
