Lines of hotel, inn, exclusive batik shop, bookshop, cafe, restaurant, to gelato cafe fill the background view along both sides of the road in the neighborhood of Prawirotaman. It is a neighborhood about 5 kilometers from the heart of Jogja, and is known as an International Tourist Village. Tourists passing by are a common view around here. Prawirotaman is also one of the alternative locations for visitors looking for lodging when spending holidays in Jogja. Unlike lodgings around Malioboro, the neighborhood of Prawirotaman is relatively quieter, with less vehicles passing by and is more pedestrian-friendly. Among the number of properties providing lodging service in Prawirotaman, Omah Lawas comes with an eye-catching look, offered for daily rent and can accommodate many persons.

The large front yard that can accommodate even a bus will welcome you upon arrival. The guest house can accommodate up to at least 16 persons. The inside of the house, large as it is, appears even larger as it employs no partition. The two-story house has five rooms across the two floors, all of no smaller size. Three rooms are located on the first floor and the other two are on the second floor. Each of these comfortable rooms come with AC, bathroom with bathtub and hot shower.

During the night, try walking around and enjoy the air of the Tourist Village as you would in Kuta, Bali. The cafes along the roadside of Prawirotaman street will get even livelier as night crawls darker. If you're not so fond of crowd, a small garden on one side of the house may be a good choice to enjoy a quiet night, chit-chatting with your friends under the shade of parasol.
